With seventeen years and counting, Betsie Leahy continues to serve real estate consumers using her broad area of expertise. She has been a continuous award winner since the late 1980's, having received the Bronze, Silver, Gold, Platinum, Ruby, and Diamond awards from the Virginia Peninsula Association of REALTORS, as well as being a Lifetime Member of Long and Foster's President's Club. Betsie consistently ranks among the top overall agents in southeastern Virginia.
A firm believer that being financially astute is a key element in making a real estate transaction a successful and happy transaction, Betsie prides herself on her keen ability to make "it" work, no matter what! She finds the way when all else has failed! Additionally, she has mastered "Seller Financing" for those buyers whose personal credit has suffered, and subsequently the commercial lenders regrettably, decline. Land acquisitions have become a very popular investment of late, and Betsie is no stranger to this new and exciting area of real estate.
On a more personal note, Betsie is the proud "Mimi" of two boys and two girls, and enjoys spending time with all her grandchildren, whenever she can! When not busy buying and selling real estate, or playing with her grandchildren, she can be found swimming with the Dolphins in Jamaica! She is a former paramedic, school teacher and owner of a business forms brokerage. Like fine wine, she only improves with age!!
